DJ SCREAM
DJ Scream, “Hoodrich Anthem” official video, 2012 (from his Big Facts Network channel)
HOODRICH
DJ Scream was born in Atlanta in 1981. His Hoodrich Radio mixtapes grew into the Hoodrich brand: a DJ collective, a label and a radio show, and one of the main roads Atlanta street records took to the rest of the country.
THE RADIO
Scream built his name on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 and later worked with iHeartRadio and SiriusXM. On Hoodrich Radio he put new Atlanta artists in the same chair as the stars.
THE ANTHEM
In July 2012 he released “Hood Rich Anthem” with 2 Chainz, Future, Waka Flocka Flame, Yo Gotti and Gucci Mane. His 2016 tape Legend brought in 2 Chainz, Young Dolph and more.
THE PHYSICAL ERA
This page tracks Scream’s run the way it moved: CDs in Atlanta, then the Hoodrich Radio drops online. If you have a Hoodrich tape that isn’t listed here, the archive wants to hear about it.
